OK, so this is my third today, but three cheers for the weather today! The snow is absolutely beautiful. And school is already cancelled. (One L or 2? It's one of the few words that looks correct either way to me. Lani?) I haven't received "the call" about the cancellation yet (OK - I'm thinking its 2 L's because cancelation looks horrendous). Aha! I looked it up. Both are correct.
Anyways, although this day will be made up one day, I'm off! And I'm a good procrastinator, so if the weather can help me do it, fine by me.

Sara - It used to always be spelled "cancelled" just like "travelled" til SOMEONE decided to take out the second "L" which does NOT look right! I always spell mine with two. It absolutely sets my teeth on edge to see the word "kidnaped." It's "kidnapped." "Kidnaped" means someone has a nape like a kid. Kinda like a Yellow Naped Amazon parrot--the back of its neck is yellow.
The word verification is "ulahaket" which is probably the name of a child of both Hawaiian and Egyptian gods...
